MOUND MUSEUM LECTURE SERIES SPOTLIGHTS

STORY OF THE MOUND LABORATORY IN MIAMISBURG, OHIO — This presentation will provide a broad historical overview of the Mound Laboratory and its employees over the nearly 60 years that major contributions were made for national defense, space exploration, energy development, and other applications. The scope of activities will be summarized along with major events and changes that occurred throughout the eras of both operation and closure. The intent is to provide a more complete description of what actually took place “behind the fences” of this formerly highly-classified institution.
