A Conversation with Betty Halley Jones
Mrs. Betty Halley Jones shares her personal experiences working on the Dayton Project during World War II and at Mound Laboratory for over 30 years during a video interview recorded in June 2019 as a joint project of the Oakwood Historical Society and the Mound Science and Energy Museum Association. Mrs. Jones describes growing up during the Great Depression then being hired by Monsanto to support the Manhattan Project and her subsequent career at the Mound until her retirement in 1979.
