MOUND MUSEUM LECTURE SERIES SPOTLIGHTS

A WALK DOWN HEAT SOURCE MEMORY LANE — This presentation is given in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing mission.

The lecture will provide a review of the nearly 50 years of work that Mound performed in the development and production of heat sources for multiple applications, as well as the assembly and testing of radio-isotope thermoelectric generators.

Doug Gabriel
Doug was a 31 year employee at Mound Laboratory with over 20 years working on the Heat Source/RTG Program. He has a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Dayton.
