MOUND MUSEUM LECTURE SERIES SPOTLIGHTS

Please join us for an open conversation about the oldest manmade beverage, and our favorite, beer. We will discuss the history of this marvelous beverage starting from its ancient origins and tracing its development through to the modern day. Along the way we will be touching on the social, cultural, and technological impacts beer and its production have had on the world as we know it.

Speaker

Dan Lauro is the Head Brewer at Carillon Brewing Company located at Carillon Historical Park, a 65-acre open-air history museum, in Dayton, Ohio. Dan has been at Carillon Brewing Co. since 2017. He has been brewing beer professionally for over seven years and as a hobby for over 20 years He is a graduate of Wright State University where he received his Bachelors of History in 2015, and a Masters of History with a focus on War and Society in 2018.
